    I just sent manifolds from a different car out to Bonehead Performance. Glacier Black. I think Jet or Glacier would be fine.

    you could just put leather over the hole, keep the ash tray, cover it in the same leather and have it for the next owner. They could slice open the hole and pop the ashtray in.

    My notes say the logo appeared through 1960, so the one with the Bosch logo on it would be factory correct for your car. Exactly when they phased out the logo is unknown, but my original 61 does not...

    you can get the big air tube out from the front of the heater to the fresh air intake, have to sort of karate chop it in the middle to cause a crease giving you room to pull off each end.

    The big difference being manufacturers all had new engines built to the same specs. We have old engines with god knows what in some cases.
