    Re: Heater system

what's the copper pipe for? With the spark plug, the valve could be freed by pushing down or lightly tapping with a hammer and then pulling up to extract.

  5. Re: Window winder catching on leather door trim

That doesn't sound like a lot of movement. I could be wrong, but I thought the plastic ends were strictly replacements from MB. Possibly used the same part number, but a cheaper version. I kind of...

Re: Hard top / end rail cap

To my knowledge, I could be wrong, you remove the soft top, remove the end rail caps, leave the J-molding, place hard top on car, rear portion affixed with 4 turnbuckles, one at each B pillar and two...

Re: Hard top / end rail cap

FWIW, this is what the seal and corner of my top looked like (when I had the car). What Orda's is, I don't know.

Re: Rear view mirror glass replacement

At the very least, you could try to trace the existing glass (make a template) so that if you break it you can have one cut inexpensively.

Re: Rear view mirror glass replacement

I got your point and obviously cleaned the glass secured inside the frame.

If there was some way to grab the tabs from the side to bend them up, doing 5 would get you home.
