Did you finally give up on calling everyone over and over again via the club directory?
I made my own for my 1978 Land Cruiser FJ40. It works really really well and I'm using only 20% of full boost. I bought a controller on ebay, used EPS unit from a Saturn Vue, a bunch of fittings...
I decided to answer the phone to tell him to stop calling me. Larry claims he has not been constantly calling my number and I explained my call log indicates otherwise. He then got pissed and asked...
I have everything but the aluminum head itself from a running/driving 921 engine. Sold the head itself years ago to someone in a jam. The head was full thickness - never cut/shaved - so I would...
Several more calls yesterday.
Try loosening the parking brake cable.
Ditto. 3 calls today. 1 voice mail. Claims to be a new group member.
I just started troubleshooting the exact same issue! In my case the soft lines and fluid are all recently replaced. Was going to check if the friction washers were too tight as well as the pivot...
I could dead lift the engine - no trans or accessories attached - and it wasn't too bad. But...this was a number of years ago...I'd ask friend to help! Point being - they aren't too heavy once the...
What's that gizmo between the battery and brake booster?
If you are in a jam I have a couple 940 heads I think would work on a 61 (940 swap I'll likely never get around to). Somebody here would know better or do a search. It would be a couple weeks...
Interested pending details and shipping....
I probably have a couple - possibly an entire set.
Eleven years later....had to replace one of my rims and repeat the job of installing the hubcap posts. Worked perfectly.
185/80/13s are marginal at best. I would not go any smaller. It will look really bad w/ that much open space in the wheel well and your RPMs will be screaming. Upgrading to 14" rims - which means...
I have a set of DISK brake spindles off a 110/111 Heckflosse which will bolt right into a 190SL. You can borrow one of those if it would help. I have a complete 190SL front subframe w/ suspension...
I installed these over the weekend - replacing the adapters available from other sources. The fit and install is much easier b/c of the studs for the airlog mounting. The allen head bolts to mount...
You might want to do some research on 4 point seat belts - most are more prone to submarining and cause abdominal damage.
I suspect that is the 110/111 fintail setup.
You can use the front spindle off a 110/111 chassis sedan instead - complete w/ the ATE caliper, rotor, dust shield etc. The kingpin between the two cars is identical except for the location of the...
He's an article/video on the situation -

I suspect this would be about as effective as the magnet on the gas line gizmo.
I have the SS exhaust system - I wouldn't get it again. The sound is completely wrong. Otherwise - the fit and install was simple enough.
I have my lines installed and bled - haven't driven the car yet as I have a few more maintenance items while the car is on the lift.
If anybody else is interested I had the lines made at Paragon...
