My SL see's daylight

After 3+ years my SL saw daylight and moved under it's own power.

This is a picture from over 2 years ago. This was about a year into the project.



This is a picture yesterday:



Still waiting on one piece of the front bumper from the chrome shop. After a short (no plate) run-I live on a private road, I put together my still to do list. It seems like for every item that I do I have to add 2 more! Who would have thought that the inside rear view mirror would rattle at moderate speed!

Congratulations!
There is nothing like that first ride after a long restoration. Unbelievably, the sorting out process will take about two years as new issues come to light. It was a year later before I discovered that my blue indicator light came on with the low beam instead of the high.

Greg, I do understand the sorting out process, hopefully less than 2 years!

Walt, I liked the colors on Rolf's SL which is how I came to my decision. I am pleased with the result.
