New Member Benefit: Free Membership in Mercedes-Benz ClubCard Program

    Dear Club Members,

The Board of Directors has recently approved our club's enrollment in the Mercedes-Benz ClubCard program. We believe we are the first recognized U.S. club to participate. Not all Mercedes-Benz related clubs have been recognized as a "Mercedes-Benz Brand Club".

Each member will receive a free individual membership in the ClubCard program. Soon you will receive a ClubCard with a unique identification number. The Mercedes-Benz ClubCard serves as proof of your club membership. In existence since 2006, it is your global admission ticket to the club community.

Benefits include a free subscription to the "Mercedes-Benz Classic" magazine published three times a year for U.S. members. Each 100 page issue features information on classic Mercedes including the 190 SL. An individual subscription would cost $40.00 per year.

You will also be entitled to a free subscription to the new "XENTRY Portal" parts information system which replaces the discontinued EPC system when it is available. This is a $75.00 value. This is the same information dealers use to find Mercedes-Benz parts.

If you travel to Stuttgart the card will provide free entry into the Mercedes-Benz Museum, discounts at the Museum store and with participating businesses.

Your new ClubCard will provide entrance to the online Mercedes-Benz ClubLounge. Here you can access the "Mercedes-Benz Classic" magazine back to 2002, the parts information system and more.

We hope you will enjoy this new club benefit.

Re: New Member Benefit: Free Membership in Mercedes-Benz ClubCard Program

All our club member's names have now been submitted to Mercedes-Benz for membership in the ClubCard program. You will be receiving a new ClubCard and information about the program soon. You can then register at the ClubLounge.

The ClubLounge allows access to online copies of the "Mercedes-Benz Classic" magazine back to 2006. All U.S. members will receive copies by mail published three times a year.

You can also check the price and availability of Mercedes parts. When available you'll have access to the new version of the now discontinued EPC system and more.

Keep an eye on your mail for your new ClubCard.

Re: New Member Benefit: Free Membership in Mercedes-Benz ClubCard Program

I got a letter with the MB Club Card, and it said to go to the website www.mercedes-benz-clubs.com to register it. But I could not find any place to do so. I registered on at "Mercedes-me site" (me-us.secure.mercedes-benz.com) , but it did not mention the card. Any ideas?

Here are the steps to register:

    Go to: https://www.mercedes-benz.com/en/

Click on the "Museum & History" tab

    Then click: "Brand Clubs"

Scroll down and click on "ClubLounge"

You should see the Registration page.

There are registration instructions in the letter you received with the card.

Check back here if there are any issues.

There was a cover letter of sorts, but no instructions except to go to the m...b....com/clubs webpage.

    And I found it:

Step 1: Log into the MB Club Lounge
To take advantage of all the benefits of the MB Club Card you must log into the Club Lounge on the www.mercedes-benz-clubs.com website. To do this, go to http://clublounge.mercedes-benz-clubs.com, where you will find an input mask (sic) {they mean form}.

Step 2: Type in your access data
First, type in your Mercedes-Benz Club Card ID. You will find this on the back of your Mercedes-Benz Club Card, at the bottom left hand side. It starts with three letters followed by six digits. Please type the letters in capitals (upper case) and do not insert any spaces.
The first time you log in, the password is your surname written in small letters (lower case), for example “luft,” “andré-rohn” or “de los angeles.” Please enter your password and click on Log in

    That worked!

I just tried the instructions prior, and it worked fine. I didn't see much in the way of instructions in the letter. Thank you for posting the instructions.

Re: New Member Benefit: Free Membership in Mercedes-Benz ClubCard Program

There has been some confusion regarding ClubCard activation / registration.

Although the cards say "Please activate your card" in actuality activation is not necessary,

All that is required is that you log into the ClubLounge and add your personal & vehicle data.

    Mercedes-Benz suggests the following:

You can access our website here:

    https://www.mercedes-benz.com/en/mer...c/brand-clubs/

The ClubLounge is our password protected site for club members where you can find exclusive offers.

You do not have to activate the card itself, but you can enter your personal and vehicle data if you like.

For us it is important to have your physical address and email address (so that we can send a new password, just in case).

    "XENTRY Portal" Parts Information System

I understand that 80% of ClubCard holders that want to receive free access to the new "XENTRY Portal" Parts System have now been granted access. However I don't know of any of our members who have access yet.

In order to get access to the "XENTRY Portal" system, go to the ClubLounge, click on "Parts Information" and then complete the application there. You should receive an email once your access is approved.

Keep in mind that Mercedes is still saying that access approval can take "weeks /months".

Re: "XENTRY Portal" Parts Information System

I received the email saying it would weeks/months. I still have not received the approval email. I however bought paid subscriptions for the last several years, so I am in no rush. Thanks for the update.
