Is there going to be a write up from "Winter Tech" on what was reviewed and issues solved?

There will be a write up in the newsletter. I'm not sure that any issues were "solved" except for what individuals were able to come away with that furthered their knowledge and capabilities with the car.

Not that I'm aware of (unless a member did). You had to be there.

    Wintertech '08 - John's Car

John's finger-lickin'-good wheels. John drives this beauty ... if it were mine, it'd be in the living room - the plastic would never come off

These are all fish-eye lens shots - I wanted to get the detail in case I need it, it's also the only way to get 'in there' such as the shots from inside the engine bay.

    More to come.

John, I've thawed out enough to extend my thanks to you, Michael and the rest at Black Forest. Learned a lot and really enjoyed the camraderie of all who attended. I hope Winter ends quick for you and you get your car back on the road soon even though it looked great up on the lift.

With Bruce being there and he such a Patriots fan he may have been secretly recording the whole thing. We may to have a Congressional hearing to find out for sure.

I think Bruce just didn't want to be on tape with long pants on. He might even had long johns on too!

I refuse to discuss the Patriots. I am still in mourning!

Is a WinterTech (or SpringTech) being planned for 2009? I was not a member at the time of the 2008 meeting but really need all of the tech information I can absorb since I'm now a proud owner of a 1955 190SL.

A Wintertech should be in the offing but someone needs to step up to the plate and champion a facility that would be interested and could provide what we would like. Conversations at the Nat. Convention typically generate a few ideas.

    Winter/Spring Tech

    Thanks, Larry. I'll "stay tuned."
