I just wanted to thank all of you that I met in person for the first time for the great education and conversation about one of my favorite topics - our beloved 190SLs.
Also a special thanks to the Ainsworths for putting on a very nice event.

Ditto! I just wanted to say about the same thing. It was very nice to come out and put a face with so many names I knew already. And meet some new ones at the same time. I can't say enough about how nice everything was. Everyone was very kind and I had some really great conversations. Hope to see you all next year!
It was totally fun, people warm and friendly. The hotel in such a green canyon. Thanks so much to the Ainsworths. Food was better than I had expected, especially Italian buffet, Mexican food at beach party, exceptional eggplant sandwich at train depot-Sarducci's in San Juan Capistrano. My dog thanks you too. She found a nice chair in our room.

I wanted to express my thanks and appreciation to Bill and Linda Ainsworth for putting on an absolutely fantastic convention. It was an awsome location, including the hotel, Lyons Automobile Collection, Classic Center included. The food was great, especially on Saturday at the concours. What a classy set up including the meal as we all wandered from car to car, friend to friend and in between great food at our leisure.
I thoroughly enjoyed talking and meeting for the first time many that I converse with regularly on our club web site. What a great group all of you are.
The Lyons Automobile Collection was unbelievable. I have seen many of his fine automobiles at local car shows but never realized he had such a huge collection. It was overwhelming when I walked through the doors of his facility to see such an awsome collection of fine automobiles.

And thaks to Lew, I was able to enjoy the collection. You know it's really great to have people saving some of the best artistry in metal that man has ever made.
I want to chime in and publicly thank Linda and Bill Ainsworth for doing an outstanding job on this convention. Having been in their shoes for other events such as this, I personally know how hard they worked to make it all perfect.
This was the first 190SL convention for us and it could not have been better. Venda and I enjoyed every aspect of it. The planned activities were perfect. We enjoyed the people we met (it is always nice to have a face to go with a name), and of course the cars - what a show! Congratulations to all that brought their cars and particularly the winners.
I came home with renewed energy to complete the assembly of my 190SL and have it at the next convention in Yellowstone.
Ron Rapp, I am very sorry you were not able to attend. I was really looking forward to meeting you and thank you personally for starting all this. What a group, what cars!

Thanks Pete, I'll be looking for you & your car in Yellowstone. Isn't this Group a real blast!
I mentioned the food a few posts back. Well, I just weighed myself and I gained 3 lbs! I have a hard time gaining weight and am now up to 112 lbs! Aside from everything else, thank you for that too, Bill and Linda.
