SWAP MEET at the SONOMA CONVENTION.
Greetings All,
Start clearing out your garages of those unwanted parts and other goodies taking up space, and bring what you can to the Sonoma Convention in June. In addition to all the other activities planned, we're having a Swap Meet, Flea Market, Garage Sale or whatever you want to call it! You can buy, sell, trade or give away anything you like.
What better way to meet and exchange ideas than by exchanging parts as well? We are inviting members, sponsors, vendors and guests to display their items. Since there are likely to be more than 120 members and guests attending the convention, it’s likely that many people will want to participate in the Swap.
The Swap Meet will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2004 adjacent to the Concourse Judging and the Technical Presentation Areas. Although there is no formal sign-up to reserve space, if you're planning on bringing something, I’d be grateful if you would contact me at levineseye@yahoo.com so that I can better plan how large an area will be needed. I will be bringing a 100' long wide roll of white plastic on which to place your parts and pieces. I will also try to get some tables to set up from the Lodge, but if you want to bring your own table to display your stuff, that's fine.
I will post a notice and sign up sheet for Swap Meet participants in the Hotel's Hospitality Room when I get there on Thursday.
If you are looking for something specific, please post your requests and/or pictures on this thread beforehand. Who knows? It just might show up!
It's gonna be a 190SL kinda of weekend.
I hope to see you there.
Jim

Hi
I have a 62 key switch with steering lock.
I don't know what it's worth???
It's still in the box.
That’s it.

Hi Jim.
I am planning to bring a few things:
Complete 190SL cylinder head, as new.
Several factory service manuals pertinent to 190SL.
As new headlight bezels (2)
A few other odds and ends, none of which should take too much more space.
I hope this helps with your planning.
Best Regards, Jim Morris.
